The Full Story
Why Whose Womb?
Pamella, in a recent interview, said. "No one must control what say I have over my own body- Get out my draws! The reversal of Roe v. Wade makes me upset. So many people fought for our rights- some of them even died. I had to do something. So, I reached out to Dok - he understood my frustration. He had a vision of combining hip-hop with poetry. I, the alternative. He, the hip-hop. And together, we just made it happen."
Pamella D'Pella "Whose Womb," taken from her poem "Mind your Business." is a new alternative/hip-hop song tackling the issue of Women's Productive rights and the fight for bodily autonomy. Poetry and music are the voice used as a call to action, the awareness of the loss of freedom.
"Whose Womb is this? It's Mine".
